WINDEY Million-kilowatt Intelligent Manufacturing Center for Wind Power Assembly in Zhanjiang Officially Comes into Operation
On January 7, a ceremony for launching & commissioning of the first generator set of the WINDEY Million-kilowatt Intelligent Manufacturing Center for Wind Power Assembly in Zhanjiang was successfully held, marking the establishment of the first wind power manufacturing enterprise in Zhanjiang, and adding strong motive force to the development of Zhanjiang’s green energy.
Zhanjiang is the “battle position” for the development of the new energy industry in Guangdong Province. For grid-connected scale of centralized onshore wind power, Zhanjiang ranks first in the province, and its power supply system has transformed from traditional coal-fired power to new energy. The completion and commissioning of this center will give full play to WINDEY's leading advantages in the field of intelligent manufacturing, achieve high-efficiency production and quality improvement of wind power equipment, promote further improvement and expansion of the regional new energy industry ecosystem, help build the "Four Greens and One Blue" modern industrial system of Zhanjiang and create a new highland for advanced manufacturing industry, and inject new impetus into local economic and social development.
The first generator set rolled off the production line in the presence of Mou Zhiping, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhanjiang Municipal Committee and executive vice mayor of Zhanjiang City, Guo Xiong, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of the Zhanjiang Development and Reform Bureau, Luo Huaqing, secretary of the CPC Suixi County Committee, Liu Jian, magistrate of Suixi County, relevant leaders of China Merchants Port Zhanjiang Port, and Cheng Chenguang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of WINDEY.
Liu Jian said that Suixi County will further improve the new energy development mechanism, optimize the business environment, and promote the law-based, compliant, and scientific development of new energy projects, helping WINDEY give better play to its capabilities in technology R & D and innovation, and achieving the dual optimization in regional energy supply system and economic structure.
